Subj: [kl] What saxophone I did purchase
Date: Thu, 16 Jul 1998 12:11:06 -0400

I immediately went out to try saxophones. And I found one that worked for me.
I first set out wanting a very dark sound, but I then found out that the dark
sound I love on the clarinet is different from the sax dark sound. (Some of
you guys are probably thinking "well, duh!", and others want more
clarification on that fact. I don't know how to explain it.) But I tried a
Yanagisawa Sterling Silver Alto and fell in love. I love it's sound and feel!
I spent more money than I originally thought I would spend, but oh well. I
really love it. Thank you to all who gave me places to look. I appreciate
everyone taking the time to help me out. (And Yanagisawa is a division of
Leblanc, and that makes me happy, although that wasn't the basis on my
decision.)

P.S. Thanks for the help with the student. I'll change my policy, and have
everyone pay at the beginning of the month, instead of having them choose the
once-a-week option.
