Does anyone have any information on the premiere of "Benny's Gig," 8 Duos
for Clarinet and Double Bass by Morton Gould? It was written in 1979 as a
birthday present. Did anyone ever hear Benny Goodman play these?
Was there a particular bass player that these duos were written for?
