I'm sitting here thinking, after looking over some of the things brought back
from Columbus. That there should be more diverse styles of clarinet playing
showcased. Has there ever been a military band audition contest? I'm thinking
there are about 75 high paying clarinet gigs in the DC area and a pretty
decent turn rate over between , The Army Band, The Marine Band, The Airforce,
Navy and US Army Field Band. And I have heard some really clueless auditions
How about A Kezmer night? A Dixiland seminar. How about "how to do a Gig"
class.
