Dark sound, eh? Suits my taste as well - my suggestion is a Yanigasawa;
they're typically known for a distinctly darker tone. If you want to go
really dark, and you have money to burn, get it black nickeled - it REALLY
makes a change in the sound.

Anyways, Yanis have always been my personal preference in saxes. NOt that
I'm an expert in sax, but I have a decent amount of experience with them.
Oughtta make you happy too, since they're LeBlanc...
