The music store where I bought my R-13 highly recommends this
mouthpiece and says that it has become very popular. When I
try it I have problems in with notes above G in the Altissimo range.
It seems to want to shut down on me. I have tried different reed
strengths but it doesn't seem to help. Over all I like the sound
quality. I was told that it is probably more suited for the jazz player.

I just recently tried the Vandoren M13 which I found to be very responsive
in the upper range. However, I have learned that I need to learn more about
mouthpieces before I swithch from my B45.
