P: "Hey Jason," she said, donning her asbestos suit to combat the
flames. "Get out the spray paint!" My son wanted a black trumpet so he
bought one at a flea market, stripped it and spray painted it black.
(School colors turquoise and black). Played it all marching season (with
a Schilke 14A4a mpc) his junior year then stripped all the paint off
again and used it for a practise horn he could keep at school his senior
year. Don't know why you couldn't take all the hardware off and do the
same to a clarinet...I think I'm kidding but I'm not sure.
Now, chin up (not embrochurally speaking), don't cry, do something about
it -- or at least get a smile from this note.
