P: The organist and my choir accompanist from my church was a guitar
major. He plays accompaniments and embellishments on hymns with
instrumental soloists (young musicians, ages 9-14) (flute, clarinet,
trumpet, cello and viola), making them into duets and ensembles. We use
whatever resources we have, and then invent some. The whole is greater
than the sum of its parts. You might try the solo/accompanist route, the
guitar parts could be as simple as chords. Sorry I can't help with
serious music for that combo.
