I recently sold my 1975 Buffet R13 Eb soprano to a university music
department. I am told that the clarinet professor thinks it's a great
instrument and better than what he was using (don't know what make or model).
At any rate, this reminds me about a recent post from another owner of a
"1970s" vintage Buffet Eb soprano. I believe that person also said his
instrument played well in tune throughout the range. Is it possible that
design features implemented in the '70s have since been abandoned?
