Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the main thing the aging does for a
reed is allow it to completely adjust to the climate it is in and of course
it does stabilize more. I doubt that the reed companies do not age the
reeds long enough. It is more likely that we just live in a different
climate.

If there is something like this in the thread later on, let me know. I
still have 200+ messages to read/respond to. I figured that the list
members would not fill up my inbox so quickly, but I was wrong. <grin>
