Jennifer,
And a little bit off of the emotional aspect of it all, have you tried
speaking with the financial aid departments at these schools? I had a
similar problem my first year of school and when I described my
situation to the folks in the financial aid department at my school I
found them to be most helpful in keeping me enrolled in classes (they
really wanted my $$!!! :) But there are always federal and state funded
grants and also, as dreadful as they sound, loans. If it weren't for
these alternatives in my situation, I wouldn't have been able to
continue my education. Just some food for thought. Keep your chin held
high and remember that you're great no matter what! We all have our bad
days, and sometimes those days seem to outnumber the good ones, but
we're all in this for one thing, the love of the art. Good luck and you
have my best wishes. ~~Haley
