Mozart's lovely Serenade No. 4, K.V.A. 229, transcribed for Clarinet Trio,
is ready for downloading from my Web page.

I must admit that the first and last movements of this serenade are
particular
favorites of mine partly because our "Woodsmen Trio" played them at concerts
from time to time when I was an undergraduate many, many years ago.

You'll also find, hidden in the Larghetto (2nd) movement, a theme of
unmistakable similarity to that which was used by Leonard Bernstein for
one of his songs for "Candide."

I'm going to spring this piece on our "Breezy Beach Trio" this evening during
the break of the weekly rehearsal of the Huntington Beach Concert Band.
