Matthew,

As a recovering "perfectionist" I understand the desire to not make the
wrong decision! Sherry's advice was excellent. As my favorite saying
goes, "Enjoy Life! This is not a dress rehearsal!" Maybe you should
define for yourself what a comfortable lifestyle is. Have you spent
anytime talking with current lawyers in your area? They may also be a
good source (or dose) of reality behind the job as an attorney. My
background is in criminal justice and the attorneys I know work long
hard hours. Not that working long and hard is bad, but it does leave
little time for their family.

It's ok if you don't know at this moment what you'd be happy doing, but
keep searching for it and you'll find it. Good luck!
