This is off topic for the group. My advice as a lawyer who doesn't practice
and did not have a great time as a lawyer is that life is too short - do
what you love. Only a small number of law school grads make the big law
firm money - just like only a small number of basketball players make the
pro money. The rest earn a decent living or have trouble eeking out a
living. I did make pretty good money, but no amount of money is worth it if
you are unhappy.

There are other choices - like being a music teacher, or being something
else in the music business. Or doing something entirely different. In any
event, if you don't feel a calling to the law and you only think you want to
go to law school because it pays well - save yourself the heartache.
