I would disagree with this opinion for the Zonda Reed. I think one might
say that the reed does not work for ones set up, however that the reed does
not last long or somehow becomes mushy is incorrect. I am sure that if a
clarinetist takes the time to care for the reed and rotate use of the reeds
then the Zonda reeds stand up with most reeds. I practice 2- 3 hours a day
and find my Zonda reeds to last as long as Vandoran products. I also keep
them in a plastic bag and rotate the reeds often. I do a few things to keep
the mosture out of the reed and lightly sand them so they are flat on the
table of the MP.
