Mine was playing Paul Harvey's Three Etudes on Themes of Gershwin, It Ain't
Necessarily So, for unaccomp. clarinet at parent's talent night at my kids
Suzuki Music Camp out on the Hood Canal area of Washington state. However
the real hit of the evening was two women who sang in mock country drawl:
"Did I Shave My Legs for This?"

Actually, my gig was this morning. Our woodwind ensemble played "Music for
the
Soul" at the Cross Mills Baptist Church in Charlestown, RI. We played
selections by Leclair, Mozart, and Haydn as well as a few traditional hymns
and the spiritual "Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow." It was very gratyifying
and
the acoustics in the little country church were wonderful!
