Hello All,

I am a complete novice, but about four years ago I received from my
great-uncle's estate a very old clarinet. The markings say Henri Freiner
Paris. I took this to a music instructor friend of mine who told me it did
not look like a typical clarinet at least to him. Does anyone have any
information about this instrument? Is there a way to date the age?

I'm really curious about its history and what type of clarinet it might be.
