I got my first 5 Zonda "freeds" when the offer was first posted almost two
years ago. My initial reaction was the same as yours, and I put the reeds
away until I read a post to KLARINET noting that it took a while for the
Zondas to "mature," and to be patient. I resurrected my Zondas almost one
year after they first arrived, and have been playing on the same 5 reeds for
the past 6 months and they show absolutely no signs of dying on me. I do,
however, "rest" an individual reed after several hours of non-stop playing.

p.s. Kevin, I have forgotten the differences in Zonda's "I, J, & K " lot
designations. Could you refresh our collective memories? Thanks.
