I could have written your post. After having my fill of engineering, technical
writing and PR, I'm looking into studying music -- my true passion -- seriously.
The nearest school to my Cape Cod home (AFAIK) is the New England Conservatory in
Boston. They have a School of Continuing Education geared toward "adult students
of all levels." They offer certificate and degree programs, with many of the
courses taught at night or on weekends. It's something I intend to investigate
more closely very soon.

Hopefully, there's a program like that within your reach. You are not alone. Good
