P: Personally, I haven't been there or done that but my Mom got her high
school diplomaAFTER she put all five of us kids through college (she had
gone as far as 6th grade in a rural parochial school). I'm the oldest of
the 5 and went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to major in music.
One of my classmates was a woman in her sixties who majored in organ.
Her granddaughters were at Carnegie Mellon. She went four years to IUP
and graduated cum laude.

P: I didn't play for 20+ years but am back working with a highschool
band as a woodwind instructor. I only wish I would have stayed with the
music teaching, I missed out on a lot.

P: Don't hesitate to undertake this project. You won't regret it. The
only regrets come from opportunities not taken.

Best of Luck!
Paulette
