Greetings,
I just saw a series of animated muscial shorts by Disney. I think they were
done as short previews for their big animated motion pictures like Cinderella.
One of them was a great video of the Goodman Quartet. The instruments were
totally animated and it was as imaginative as Fantasia. The other number
titled Opera Pathetique, was about an Opera singing whale that gets harpooned
by an opera impressario, who mistakenly thought the singing whale had
swallowed a singer. Amazing the things you can see on the Disney Channel at
2:00 am ::sigh:: If only MTV was this creative.

I would like to purchase some recordings of the Goodman quartet, can anyone
reccomend any particular recordings, or collections? Did this quartet play
Carnegie? Thanks :-)
