Subj: [kl] ICA Member Questionnaire - PLEASE FILL OUT AND RETURN

Dear ICA Members,
Thanks to those of you who have returned the "Member Questionnaire" that
was enclosed with the latest issue of _The Clarinet_. I've received over
300 so far but that's far from the almost 4,000 members we seek to serve
and to look to for advice and consent. ^_^
If you have been procrastinating, please take a few minutes and give us
your ideas as we look to the future development of our organization. In
particular, we are seeking information that will support our request to
the University of Maryland Library staff and administration to put the
ICA Score Collection Catalog online; AND comments about our CD Project;
AND general comments about the association AND our journal, _The
Clarinet_ (comments so far are running 2.5 to 1 in favor of an
electronic catalog). Jim Gillespie does a terrific job of editing the
journal but he needs your direct imput as to how he/we can improve and
already fantastic magazine (the comments so far have been very
instructive). PLEASE HELP US!
I hope to answer as many of your questions as I can during the coming
months. Thanks to everyone who has responded so far. Remember, this is
your association.
