Klarinet Archive - Posting 000465.txt from 1998/06
From: "Frederick S. Sterns" <fssterns@-----.net> Subj: [kl] Cheap Shots! Date: Sat, 13 Jun 1998 00:31:18 -0400
Just returned from a five day trip and found this post, among others, on my
server. I don't think a gratuitous, cheap shot like this belongs on the
list. I would be surprised if the author had any real experience with the
military [and I am NOT a service member!] or he would not have posted what
I believe is an uninformed, stupid, and senseless "political" rather than a
clarinet related statement. That kind of comment plays well on the "slime
time" TV shows and the list servs that mirror them, but I doubt the members
of this list want to spend bandwidth on them. FSS
