Clarinet Candy. Played it w/youth Orchestra in 8th grade. Easy, fast, cool
sounding. Lays well. We had so much fun with it, that our biggest problem
was not laughing while playing it. Don't know if we ever grew out of that
.. I doubt it ;)

What's this piece like? In the orchestra I play in, our conductor is keen
on featuring different sections as much as possible (some idiot arranged the
aria "Figaro! Figaro!" from The Barber of Seville for TUBA and orchestra,
which doesn't sound good at all! We should NOT be playing it!) when we do
less formal concerts. I found a reference to Clarinet Candy in a 4 clarinet
and orchestra version, and I was considering getting him to let us play it.
How long would it take to learn? All four of us are pretty capable players.
Thanks
Anna
