I am not professional. The most "professional" the clarinet might get is in
a local community orchestra with some paid players. I'm looking for
something that will still be fun to play but won't cost an excessive amount
of money.

Do you, or anyone have any idea how the Spirit would compare to the Noblet
45. The Noblet is an intermediate clarinet as well; although it might be a
step up from the Spirit. If it is worth the extra $400 for the Noblet I'd
probably go for it. But if the Spirit is a pretty good clarinet and the
Noblet is just a bit better I think I'd probably get the Spirit.
