Most of the wood for greenlines would come from the turning of the clarinet
in a lathe. Take just your average bell, imagine it as a block of wood,
and remove all the part that "isn't" a bell. Nice pile of shavings all by
itself. Looking at at an average clarinet, I'd image the shavings from one
clarinet would pretty much equal one greenline.
