Why didn't they use a pre-recorded tape, you know, like the River Dance
troupe uses for the toe-tapping sounds. (exposed on TV last night). I'd put
on the Bundy mouthpiece for that one ;)

Well last night I learned something new. The conductor of a traveling "River
Dance" show asked us to play the piece with our clarinets supported on our
knees with our legs bouncing and the sound was remarkably like those of
bagpipes. Has anyone else tried this? I played what I thought was badly but
the guy said it was perfect. Can I possibly be that screwed up?
