I'm currently borrowing a Buffet which, according to the serial number (and
a helpful soul on the list) was built in 1914. It uses a spankin' new Bb
mouthpiece just fine.

I will clarify. I am interested in a "C" clarinet for a couple of purposes,
but I just want to experiment, thus I don't want to spend the money on the
Noblet. Finding anything in C is quite difficult. I may have found a
source for some very old C instruments, like early 1900s, but still boehm
system. If I can get one cheap enough I may just experiment and find out
what happens. I'm especially interested in information from folks out there
who might own an older C clarinet.
