For clarity's sake, I should add that I don't frown down on the distinct
register thing - it's perfectly acceptable to many players, and I chide no
one (harshly ^_^ ) for it. If you prefer to have distinct ranges, that's
perfectly fine - I simply don't like it when _I_ don't have them, which is
why I opt for the better instruments.
