+AHw-I thought that any of you that are Star Trek fans would like to hear this.
+AHw-About 2 weeks ago I went to a special event in +ACI-Space Week+ACI- at the Kennedy
+AHw-Space Center here in Florida. One of the celebrity guests was Garrett
+AHw-Wang, who plays Ensign Harry Kim on the Star Trek +ACI-Voyager+ACI- series. On
+AHw-the show, he has played clarinet several times. I got the chance to ask
+AHw-him if he really played clarinet. He answered that he didn't, but that he
+AHw-had insisted that when he is pictured playing, that the notes he is seen
+AHw-playing are the +ACI-right+ACI- ones that are heard. He also said that Kim will
+AHw-be featured playing the clarinet in the season premiere next fall. Nice
+AHw-guy.

Well, I guess we should all be grateful. (By we, I mean all wind players)
What really annoys me is when shows have some person playing sax, clarinet,
and, I guess oboe, though I've never seen it, with the wrong hands. (I
suppose it could happen with trumpet and brasses too)

I mean, how much more clueless can you get? I think on Punky brewster or
some other kids' show from the 80's, I remember a kid playing a clarinet,
with the wrong hands and also just randomly tapping the keys with the base
of his fingers. There was also no ligature.

::sigh::
