Subj: [kl] Bass Clarinet - Advice

This is a request for advice on what make/model bass clarinet would be a
good upgrade. My daughter is currently using an *old* wood LeBlanc which
seems to need almost constant repair/tweaking and wants to upgrade to a
better, more dependable instrument. She's 17, a very good musician (made
Northern California Honor Band last year), and is looking for something
that could take her through college and beyond - not necessarily an
instrument for a professional career since she's planning on a music minor.
We'd really appreciate any suggestions you'd care to pass on.
