Of course you COULD buy the version that has had the piano part transposed to
accomodate the Bb clarinet. It is available. After all by playing on standard
clarinet (even in A) you must already compromise the piece anyway. In one movement
(the third, I believe), the music as written goes to the C below the fourth ledger
line below the staff. It was originally written by Mozart for Anton Stadler to play
on a special clarinet of his own design which had such an extension.
