Weber tempos

I'm not to embark on a dissertation of Weber tempos.

Let's talk about the last movement of the Weber Number 2 Concerto.
Tempo de Polonaise.

If you listen to the last Movement of Beethoven's triple concerto, which
is Rondo alla Pollaca, also a tempo de Polonaise, one can get an idea
what the players of these days assume a Polonaise tempo to be.

When the Polonaise is taken at a slowish steady tempo, the very last
page of Concerto 2 makes sense suddenly to burst forth with a dash.

But- to each his or her own taste. There is one interpretation of that
Concerto that I like. I'm not divulging the name. But it's tasteful from
beginning to end, although it may not be tonally and technically to
everyone's taste.
