In the "Vandoren Mouthpiece Technical Reference Brochure" the "13" =
series mouthpieces are described as being "specifically designed for =
american clarinettists using A440 pitch" and are listed as American =
Pitch "13" Series. I believe that the Buffet clarinets are mostly =
pitched at A442 and these mouthpieces are designed to counter this.
