<<Today I purchased at auction this clarinet: Totally wooden including

...Does anyone have an idea of what it might be worth?
The really spooky part is that my name is: Jerry Thomas Lamie (JTL) Too
strange!>>

Jerry, I also have a "Jerome Thibouville Lamy" clarinet with a VERY similar
inscription. Mine says "Legion D'Honneur" (Legion of Honor) but lacks the
notation about Londres (London). Mine is an Eb soprano, very lightweight (thin
walled maybe?), plays easily, and sounds so pure. It's a hoot to play and I
have tried to learn more about its history...to no avail so far. Please keep
me posted if you learn anything about your JTL!
