You're not weird. You're the luckiest bass clarinetist on the face of this
planet. I play a pretty good bass clarinet (a Selmer pro model) and the
throat tones are the most awful sounding notes on the entire horn. I'd
rather be blowing my brains out in the altissimo register. At least they'd
sound better. +ADw-VBG+AD4-
