Today I purchased at auction this clarinet: Totally wooden including
mouthpiece and mouthpiece cover. Engraved on the bell:
JTL
HORS CONCOURS
PARIS
1878-1889-1900
Paris or Londres
Jerome
Thibouville
Lamy
Paris
A A (These are Eifel Towers)

There's more but that's the best stuff. It has four open holes and two rings.
Only 15 keys with register key hole on top. It's not a true Albert or Boehm
that I've seen before. The metal ring on the bell is loose and the bell is
stuck. It can stay that way...I don't care. It cleaned up real well, took a
little oil and sounds great. The case is one of those leather roll things but
is in rough condition. Does anyone have an idea of what it might be worth?
The really spooky part is that my name is: Jerry Thomas Lamie (JTL) Too
strange!
