Subj: [kl] Selmer Contrabass Price Question

I was wondering if anybody knows the price of a Selmer Rosewood Contrabass
with low C? someone mentioned they are like $35,000 - to which I cringe. But
then again, it wouldn't surprise me if they were that expensive? I'm looking
to buy a new Contrabass. If the Selmer is too expensive, how would a Leblanc
Metal Contrabass with low C compare? I know their proce, but what are they
like as horns? Thanks in advance!
