Well, if I sat down in the local community band, and the clarinet player beside me was struggling along with a Bundy with the stock plastic m/p, I would gladly donate an old B45 to them. Given that so many students are stuck with the 2.5 Ricos they get at school, it would probably serve them well. Maybe it would increase their pleasure in playing the instrument, thus leading them to acquire a better instrument, and become a lifelong player.
