I don't know if you were being very serious or not, but if you were, allow me
to be picky. The violin I could agree with, except that many people have
EXCELLENT violins, and they don't exceed $100,000. Only the very elite pay
that much for elite violins. I happen to play violin, and I love my Hans
Kroger. It only cost $3,500 and it is very good. (also keep in mind I'm 16,
and can't buy extremely good ones - yet.)
A very good (EXCELLENT, SUPERIOR) piano is undisputingly Steinway. I also play
piano. And I own a white Young Chang grand worth $15,000. Steinways I've
seen cost roughly $35,000 to 50,000.
I apologize. I don't think you guys really cared so much about that, but I
just thought I'd be difficult! ;o)
Chris Hoffman
P.S. And yes, I really do play those instruments, and more in fact.
