Subj: [kl] B45. vs B45
Date: Fri, 29 May 1998 13:30:51 -0400

I posted this question earlier, but I think it got lost in the switch over
to sneezy. Since the subject of mpc's is open again, does anyone know the
difference between Vandoren B45. and B45 besides the "dot"? The spec sheet
shows the same opening (1.195) and facing (21.5) so the difference is
obviously in the chamber. My teacher highly recommended that I use the
B45. and I have been using it for 8 months. I use Vandoren V12 3.5 reeds
and the Optimum Lig. and am very pleased with the results, but I have not
tried the standard B45 mpc. Does anyone use the B45. in the US or is it a
European thing?
