Well, in general I would recommend looking in catalogs from the Woodwind &
Brasswind or Muncy Winds, etc. (From personal experience, I can tell you that
this beats the daylights out of walking around the neighborhood checking trash
cans and gutters. Sounds like I'd be more likely to find a B45, anyway.)
Another option is to try David Hite's website. (See Sneezy's sponsor's page.)
In our case, though, my daughter's teacher always keeps a few for her students
to try and, if they like them, sells them at her cost. We bought ours from
her. ;^)

(Oh yes, I think it has worked great for my daughter.)

BTW, I don't understand the theory behind giving a B45 to some poor "deserving"
student (from an earlier message, not Ken's). Perhaps "misery loves company"?
Or is the use of the term "deserving" meant to be ironic? ;^) IMHO, at 119.5
mm (per Vandoren) this is pretty open for a student mouthpiece even with a
"medium long (?)" (21.5mm) facing.

Best regards,
Jack Kissinger
