Just to be controversial... yep :)

When I bought my clarinet (Boosey & Hawkes 8-10), it came with a
mouthpiece with a rather larger lay compared to the mouthpiece I was
used to (Bundy resonite clarinet). Bought a B45, and have used it ever
since. Needs a relatively hard reed to get a decent sound out of it,
I've found... it only speaks nicely with a 3 or better.

(PS - new to the list. Does anyone have any information on the Boosey
8-10?)

Regards,
