I have a wonderful old wood mouthpiece (name unknown) that I LOVE but it came
with those "teeth trenches" that Kevin warned about on plastic mouthpieces. I
shudder to think that someday my beloved mouthpiece will go to that wood
chipper in the sky. I'd like to have a replica of the mouthpiece made now. Can
I buy a mouthpiece blank somewhere and have it faced to the same specs as my
existing mouthpiece? Or would I buy a mouthpiece that is merely similar to
mine and have it refaced?
