I wish I still had my wooden Signet I had in high school in the early
'60s. I believe all Signets were wooden. I know I beat out many better
instruments at a regional all-state band making it to second chair
concert band. Somewhere through the years it was lost at my parents
house. Someone mentioned price ranges in another post. My parents paid
over $300 in the 60's for it.

Hey, I'm no pro clarinetist, but I enjoy playing, and I enjoy this
digest and pick up some neat tips along the way. I wish I had more time
to play.

I now play strictly for fun and enjoyment, in our church 'orchestra'. I
now have a 'Noblet Paris' serial number 83311, now with a Vandoren B45
mouthpiece. It suits my purpose well. Anyone know what it is worth or
how old it is? I paid $50 for it at a pawn shop, 4 or 5 years ago, and
the only thing I have had to do is replace several thin 'anti-clicking'
corks, however it is about to need a complete pad job.
