i bet you're not unique.

once, nearly 40 years ago in the summer, i was practising in my attic
room with the windows open. my mother took an anonymous call saying
"will you stop playing that damned recorder".

i still don't know whether to laugh or cry about that: when i was
young, i had a pretty good tone...
