The three notes are not tounged, but each individually "scooped" for a kind
of "wah-wah-wah" effect. (I have both the book and the recording.) And if
you like that book, a more recent and likely still in print book is "Benny
Goodman, Composer/Artist" (Regent Music/Hal Leonard). There are two
duplications, but it includes AC-DC Current, Air Mail Special, Clarinet a
la King, Mission to Moscow, etc.
