I'll take your word for it if it actually SAYS "Resonite" on it. But that
would make it somewhat unusual. Generally, the difference between a Bundy
and a Signet is the material, some wood Bundys being the principal exception.

Not likely. Unless the higher resistance, interacting with your
embouchure, oral cavity, etc., results in a less desireable sound. You can
probably make adjustments to your embouchure to compensate, if necessary.
Or get a different ax!
