I am 99.9% sure that Schezro Fantastique is on the level-A list. As far
as difficulty goes; level A is fine, Ohio doesn't list double A's; I don't
know if any of the states do; but I'd like to try to avoid AAs. I'll take a
look at the list again Monday and tell you what is on it.
As for the remarks made by Mr.Stoll, I agree! (Were those remarks?);-)
I can say that IMHO, the contra's deserve alot more credit and pieces. Yes,
they're big; but not in the least are they cumbersome! I think they're as
or very close to as agile as the bass clarinet; and the sonority of thier
low notes is amazing.
Plus, if anybody has a straight Rosewood contraBASS; one of those
extremely rare Selmers, and is willing to part with it; please feel free to
e-mail me (Privately) and name a price.
