I was quite blown away 3 years ago when adjudicating a music festival to
hear a great solo by a Grade 13 student on a brand-new Rosewood Selmer
contralto; the piece was "Le Pionnier" by Lucien Cailliet, longtime
educational director for Lelanc, I believe. Not sure of publisher; any
ideas if this is still in print? Lovely slow, lyrical piece.
