Bobbi: Here are some more ideas. Try the Ibert-3 Short Pieces(Trois Piece
Breves)--great clarinet parts (did it on my junior recital). Also the Malcolm
Arnold -3 Shanties is very popular, but tough. Then there are the Milhaud-La
Cheminee du roi Rene, the Pierne-Pastorale, the Ravel-Piece en forme de
Habanera and Le Tombeau de Couperin, the Persichetti-Pastorale, to name a few.
That book that one of our other Listers mentioned that's yellow and has about
20 or 30 pieces in it is published by Southern Music Co., and really is a
must-have for any quintet. It has a good assortment of levels and styles, and
is not too expensive. Have fun!! Elise
